How to Meet (and Keep) a Guy, Via Thought Catalog

I stumbled across this gem this morning and thought it was genius...



It's been amazing lately to sit back and witness the hoops many women in my life are willing to jump through to find a guy -- not the guy, per se, but a guy to simply be there and appear in Facebook updates and Instagram photos. This article particularly rang true during a period in my life when I'm purposely choosing not to date, because after all, without a man, what worth are any of us?

 Anywho, enough of the sass. Here's my favorite excerpt:

"Be ready to throw everything under the bus for when Cute Boy comes along, because you are not going to integrate him into things while still keeping strong personal importance on your private life. It’s all or nothing, slore. If problems should arise in the relationship, it is best to blame yourself entirely and focus on listening to Death Cab songs until you are ready to take the fall for everything from why the dishwasher is always loaded wrong to the shooting of Archduke Ferdinand."
